For this reason in 2012 Flagship Biosciences acquired IHCtech LLC to bring together worldclass quantitative pathology with in-house histology. The two companies worked together for several years on various client projects prior to the integration, and the benefits to the experience in histology and immunohistochemistry by IHCtech were clear from the outset.
